Ingredients
  • 1 fryer chicken (2 ½ lbs - 3 lbs)
  • ⅓ cup Crisco
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¾ cups flour
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
  1. Cut the chicken into pieces.
  2. Mix the flour, salt and pepper in a bag, then add the chicken, a few pieces at a time, shaking it well to coat evenly.
