Ingredients
  • 2 lbs chicken in serving pieces
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
For the Fried Plantains:,
  • 3 peeled green plantains in 1 inch pieces
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • Oil, for deep-frying
  • Salt, to taste
Instructions
  1. First prepare the chicken. Rub the salt all over the chicken pieces.
  2. Beat the milk with the eggs and set aside. Combine the flour and black pepper and set aside.
  3. Dip the chicken in the egg mixture and then in the flour mixture. Make sure it is coated all over.
  4. Heat the oil to 375 degrees F in a deep-fryer, then fry the chicken until it is cooked through.
