If you have only used Coca Cola as a mixer for your drinks or a beverage in its own right, you might be interested to know that you can make savory recipes with it. Chinese fried chicken wings are given an amazing flavor with Coca Cola, for example. Boil a bone-in ham in Coca Cola with some onions, then use a mustard, clove and molasses glaze to impart an incredible sweetness to it. You can also use Coca Cola in the gravy for a 7-bone roast, to make it richer. Try using Coca Cola to make beef jerky or use it to marinate brisket. It tenderizes the meat as well as adding flavor.
You can use Coca Cola in both sweet and savory jello recipes. Mix jello powder with Coca Cola instead of water in your favorite jello recipes for a really nice taste.
